Nature of the service
RIDA AI is an artificial intelligence system, not a real person. Its companions are AI characters. Replies are AI-generated, with no human taking part in or reading your conversations. The service does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, or psychotherapeutic advice.
1. How we treat your data
RIDA AI follows a local-first principle. Your chat history, nickname, and personal content are stored locally on your device. Our servers do not persist conversation text, uploaded images, or documents; they are relayed in memory only while processing a request.
2. What we collect
To operate the app and handle billing, we keep only what is necessary: account and sign-in identifiers; credit and usage ledgers, including token usage but no conversation content; purchase and subscription references and status; device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and time zone; advertising-attribution data described below; switchable in-app usage statistics described in section 4; and the service and transaction usage records described in section 5. With analytics consent, we may infer an approximate country or region, state or province, and city from your network address. We discard the full network address after inference and keep only a masked form in logs.
3.1 iOS — Apple Search Ads
If you install RIDA AI after seeing an Apple App Store advertisement, Apple provides an attribution token. We send it with the device information described above to our own attribution service at szh.liruidai.com to measure campaign performance. It contains no name, email, contacts, or directly identifying information; resolves only to campaign-level details; does not use IDFA; and is not used for cross-app or cross-site tracking. Approximate location follows your analytics and manually selected region settings. This information is not sold, shared with data brokers, or shared beyond the advertising platform. Because this does not involve cross-app tracking, RIDA AI does not request App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS.
3.2 Android — Adjust
The Android app uses Adjust GmbH as an attribution processor. Its SDK reports an install event, including the Google Advertising ID (gps_adid), device information, and install or subscription events. Adjust identifies the advertising source and returns the result to our attribution service at szh-gpa.liruidai.com. This is used only to measure which campaigns produce installs and subscriptions. We do not use it to build profiles, serve targeted advertising inside the app, or run remarketing, and we do not sell it or send it to data brokers. You can delete or reset the advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads on your device.
4. Usage statistics (switchable)
The Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which parts of RIDA AI work well and where users encounter friction. It records actions such as opening the app, choosing a companion, sending a message, viewing the daily word, opening the purchase screen, and completing a purchase, together with device and environment information and a Firebase app-instance identifier. It never records conversation text, nicknames, saved memories, uploaded images, or documents; it is not used for profiling, targeted advertising, or remarketing. This setting is on by default and can be turned off at any time in the in-app privacy page using the “Help me grow” switch. Once turned off, no further behavioural events are recorded and the choice remains off. The iOS app does not include this analytics feature. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Firebase privacy terms.
5. Service and transaction usage records (required)
On both iOS and Android, we retain a limited service record needed to provide credits, verify purchases, resolve refund or delivery disputes, understand service reliability, and improve the product. It may include app opens, conversation-turn counts, time spent, credits consumed and remaining, purchase-screen and purchase events, product and transaction references, entitlement delivery results, app and operating-system versions, approximate region, and your RIDA AI account identifier. It never contains conversation text, nicknames, saved memories, uploaded images, or documents; contains no advertising identifier; is not shared with advertising platforms; and is not used for targeted advertising, remarketing, or model training. These records are processed by service providers acting on our behalf at szhm.liruidai.com and szhm-gpa.liruidai.com. This required record has no switch because transaction and entitlement facts must exist before a store dispute or refund request can be resolved. You may still contact us to request deletion of data linked to your account.
6. AI processing
Messages may be sent to selected third-party model providers, such as DeepSeek or Microsoft Azure OpenAI, to generate replies or process images. We do not sell this content or use it to train models, and our servers do not retain it. Processing may occur outside your country or region when a closer service region is unavailable.
7. Your choices and rights
You may clear local history inside the app at any time; turn off the switchable usage statistics described in section 4; choose your region, which influences the processing region; delete or reset the Android advertising ID in system settings; and contact us to request deletion of data linked to your account. The service and transaction record in section 5 has no switch for the reasons explained there.
8. Minors
RIDA AI is intended for adults. If you are below the age of majority where you live, use it with guardian guidance or discontinue use.
